As for rust prevention, provided you wipe the blade down daily, you shouldn't have any issues. The blade shouldn't ever actually sit directly next to the skin anyway(unless you wear it without a sheath
) so the only thing you have to worry about is the handle.
I've wrapped mine with paracord(the color changes monthly, currently it's a deep crimson, next month I'm think navy blue) and I haven't had any rust issues with the handle yet.
If you're going to cord wrap, you don't need all that much. I only use about 25" of cord, and even that is a little much.

So about 500 SWICKS produced, I wonder how many of them are accounted for here. :confused:
To my dismay, I only have one. :o I need another half dozen or so.

I just got my Swick yesterday and it replaced a black SPOT around my neck.
I really like it, a bit more than the SPOT in fact. I'm very tempted to get another from NGK, as a back up (and because of the limited run).
I'm currently wearing it on a ballchain. Do you guys have pointers different carry methods? How about someplace to order a mini Tek-Lok?

Depending on my mood, it's either on a ball chain, tucked in my pocket, or tucked in the waist band.
One of these days I'll get the mini Tek-Lok for it, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Google Tek-Lok and you'll come up with a lot of vendors who sell it. I believe knifekits.com sells them as well, but can't remember off the top of my head.
As someone mentioned on another forum, a J Clip for it would be nice, I may steal the one off my HAK and see if it works :p
