Pruinose Squash Bee
"is a species of solitary bee in the tribe Eucerini, the long-horned bees. Its common name is eastern cucurbit bee. It may be called the squash bee, but this name can also apply to other species in its genus, as well as the other squash bee genus, Xenoglossa. I swear they are tricky buggers when it comes to bird seed. He looks like he is just relaxing up there.

You can’t see it from this angle there is a tray type feeder hanging in the Maple that was full . He hasn’t figured out how to get to it but the Crow nesting in back have found it and clean it out in early mornings . Little, birds leave a mess under the feeders for Mr.Squirrel and if it was him I would have seed hulls everywhere. Crow like a lie Jay take as many as possible and hide them if they don’t eat them .
