[quote="smcfalls13"]My apologies Grand Master of the Holy Sacred Orange Drink
I shall now imbibe the sacred libation, as penance for the indisretion of mentioning those heathen flavors :p
Yet again, the strangest conversations always happen in the early morning hours ]
Give me a link, the Spyderco forum seems to have slowed to a crawl and I got 5 more hours of work to fill. :D

I meant THIS conversation. :p 8 posts about orange drink :D
I think it's safe to say we've done a great job successfully derailing this thread :p
Now I will say Tang is at the top, but there was that one Kool Aid a few years back that started out green, and turned blue when you added water. Didn't taste as good, but it was fun as heck to make.

It's 3:30 AM here, I'm bound to miss stuff :p
Never liked being a sandbox ninja, always got sand in my eyes, and it's hard to throw GI Joes like a shuriken when you can't see your target.
Now I will say I was an awesome Swing Set ninja  I had a "tactical" swing set where I could hide on top of it and ambush my victims from above with my broken tree branch as a ninja sword. :D

The tactical, wet sandball grenades were always effective in my neck of the Ninja dojo.
I could always get a few extra yards of distance after a cool glass of orange Tang.

Hmm...that gives me an idea. Perhaps Tang soaked sandballs could be utilized as a psychological distraction. Once hit, the aroma of Tang would cause the victim to have a serious craving for Tang, thus rendering them ineffective in combat.

I think that is bunch of hype. The aerodynamic coefficient of Tang sandballs is less than your average water sandball.

Tang is over rated and not worth the 4.00 it cost.Maybe .69 but not 4.00.
Koolaid is just as good at .39

you are all wrong! orange juice from concentrate is the best. it is already frozen so it can be easily thrown at people as well, no need for sand.

all the tang sand balls I have ever handled had bilateral, horizonital & vertical play in the pivot points, so they are junk

There is an awful lot of trash talking going on here.
I think you guys are just mad because you got slammed with a Tang sandball when you weren't looking
It's so much more satisfied when you're the one lobbing the Tang :p

The Tang I tried once had a chipped blade, then it snapped in half. The envelope had a hole in it, the powder all drained out before I could get it into the water. And the water......the bottle's cap was misaligned and totally off axis. Threads were no good, either.
Then this guy came by, talking about how great HIS water bottle was, and what a piece of crap mine was. So I kicked sand in his face. Or was it the Tang that drained from my envelope?

see? you tang folks have blade play. thats why you need the fixed-juice concentrate instead of folding tang. unfortunatly you will need to sharpen yours if you get one--they come from the factory unsharpened. I suggest using a can opener.

Obviously, you've neglected to consider the frozen variety with any sort of credence.
On the brighter side...the bad-smelling, foul one has melted away.

No, I'm still here, I just took a shower.
Kool-Aid is for PlayGround Ninjas. Tang has all the vitamins a growing boy needs. I challenge anyone to post a picture of bi-lateral, horizontal blade play in any Tang.

Ever had Tang kicked in your eyes? It's really unpleasant  It uses your eyes moisture to liquify, and you start shedding tears of Tang.
Tasty. But painful :p

Agreed.
Tang is good for you. Kool Aid is just sugar. Kinda of like Ovaltine and Nestle Quik. One is good for you, one rots you from the inside out.
Tang is far superior to all other drinks, and I'm with Zen, I don't believe all this blade play crap, I need pictures and documented(independent) proof of this "blade play" you speak of.
Tang has Pomegranate Banana(PB) bushings which prevent blade play, so you guys are full of crap. :D

So, 'Tang Light' is just a tapered or drilled tang?
