This T. Slipit is looking very, very sweet. Beautiful design and seemingly guaranteed to become a hit. That Stretch 2 looks like I'll be adding it to my collection... I've been feeling the need for a flat ground FRN knife.

+1 for The Terzuola
Terzuola, and Taiwan

That Terzuola slipit looks awesome! Ball-bearing action sounds very nice. Sounds like it will be made in Taiwan? I am glad to see that the Chokwe will be Taiwan also - keep the price down a little and I like the use of S30V. It sounds like the Cat and Chicago will be VG-10 in Japan, which seems odd since they are mini-Sages (Taiwan)?
The new Manix 93mm looks great. I've beeen looking forward to an FRN Stretch for some time also. I think the Stretch will really get the praise it deserves in this version.
I am very impressed with a lot of these upcoming knives. Really cool and unique designs!

Question - Any word on the Chicago and Cat models getting the same lock variations as the sage model? I sure would love to see a small Ti (or SS) RIL Chicago to alternate with my beloved cricket.
You're welcome. I didn't get the impression that the Chicago and Cat models were going to be made in different version like the Sage. They were presented as 'regular new models'.

Mr Blonde wrote:This one was a nice surprise to me, I have been longing for some teeth in the slip-it line and this will fit the bill nicely. The UKPK Rescue has pretty much the same specs as the regular UKPK: G10 handle, wire clip, 3 inch blade. I'd love to test this one out, this ones definitely on my list!
This pic is especially for Arend, enjoy!

Well Wouter I can see a UKPN Rescue coming my way  :D
And of course a fully serrated Stretch
Thx for the pics and report Wouter

The Perrin folder is still a ways off. Actually Fred brought us 3 designs.

Believe he mentioned earlier, either in this thread or somewhere else that he couldn't pry it away from Eric long enough to take any stills of it.

Holy Crap!
1. Wouter thanks for taking all these pictures. Awesome as always.
2. The more I look at the Chokwe the more I really really like it.
3. That FRN Stretch and the Terzuola, are absolute must have knives. Dang!
Wow!

The new Manix model we have is a "pilot", not a prototype. The "Pilot" is a short production run using production tooling and engineering. Sometimes we make 5, sometimes we make 40. It depends on the vendors.
Paul,
I didn't get a chance to send you the Chokwe for photos, just ran out of time. So I planned on getting the Manix off to you on Monday. Maybe we can get a "road test" and some pics.

Sal, not a problem. I fully understand. As for the Manix II, I'd be honored.

Is there a timeframe on the Stretch2? It seems to fit my wants perfectly! A flat ground FRN knife in VG-10, what's not to love?

This sounds like an excellent deal to get some good shots of the Manix II posted on these forums.

I've heard there was a proto dyad, any pics?

There was a concept model dyad, not a 'production prototype', hence pics weren't allowed. I liked this dyad design as it allows lefthanded access.

Can you say what it looked like?

As a concept model it had stainless handles with intergral locks, blades seemed in the 3,5 inch range with a 4-way clip.
