I have heard great things about the Chad. That is a very nice configuration.
Last year at Blade Show, I was able to hold and handle the Compadre. Absolute fantastic design.

That is a nice looking knife!
I don't want to hear about the action of your knife - Rick

Ya the Chad is really fun for me right now. I had the textured Ti version, and ended up getting the smooth CF version for better carry (it's way lighter). I love how the clip can be a deep carry wire, or one of the better machined clips I've used. They also come with two different strengths of springs if you like a stronger self close.
PM60 has been great, holding my 14dps edge amazingly well. I guess it's closest steel relative from what I've read is Maxamet, but it feels much more aggressive to me in use.

It's always annoying when the lighting in a photo makes the bevels on a knife look really uneven when you know they're not
Got some new stuff coming in the mail tomorrow, so will be switching it up to a USA made folder for the weekend

I'm gonna try one of these again. I'll EDC it for the next few weeks at least.

I sold my other one I bought years ago because I felt like the handle was too slim and I didn't like the clip. I'm going to try to judge it as its own design rather than comparing it to my classic Buck 110 like I did last time.
If nothing else the factory edge sure is impressive. Every bit as sharp as my Spydercos out of the box.

I'm not big on tanto's or overbuilt folders, but I enjoy this large Inkosi tanto. Someone mentioned that if you ignore the tip completely, you could think of it as a wharncliffe. Then you also have a chisel-like tip when you need it. Interesting take...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
I usually only buy Cold Steel and Hinderer folders if I do not buy Spyderco folders.
Last week I went old school and bought a 0203CF ZT in M390 with a DuraLock. I like the full liners. The lock is OK, I think that I need to break it in. I can open it without touching the lock with wrist action. The steel is fine. I was primarily after the blade and handle patterns. Nice knife. I like the Spyderco Native Chief just as much, just need to work on getting them to pop open.
