Ham. I cut some ham slices into squares to mix with my scrambled eggs using my new Endura. Yum!

Street Beat batoned some wood, sparked a ferro rod, carved a roasting stick, sliced sausages etc.

Dragonfly got a work out making wood shavings.

Manix ended up staying in my pack and not getting used.

rec manix (204p) took care of a small patch i missed when shaving this morning. i can't believe this is still on the factory edge (not even a touch-up on the sm). i've opened packages, cut misc. paper, and even carved sticks multiple times. i've never had a factory edge that could shave like this, especially after this kind of use.

Sounds like it's about time you have your mind blown by some of these tool steels then!

i got the 15v manix, but i've not carried it yet. i'm trying to get a k390 wharncliffe endura before the price increase too, but i'm not sure i'm going to be able to swing it.

Whittled away three hard, Russett apples with a slice of Spanish Iberico cheese. Took me a half a year to screw up the courage to use my Damasteel bladed Urban for food prep. I was concerned about the acid in fruit discolouring the Damasteel blade material.
But, no stains formed on the Damasteel & the clean up was easy. The Damasteel blade cut my apples just as efficiently as my S90V or AEB-L bladed Urbans.

Used my Schempp Rock to help clear several trail obstructions over New Year's weekend at the local forested area, as part of my daypack-portable trail-clearing kit. It's really good for slashing/snap-cutting through branches of fallen trees so I can get to the trunks with a hatchet and saw.

Punched a load of holes through soundproofing tarpaulin so I could cable tie it to a mesh fence with my PM2 tanto in S30V. By far and away my favourite knife. Now if they’d just make one in Magnacut…
