I love mine too.
I find it's almost a perfect EDC flashlight :
- Small enough to fit in a pocket
- The user interface is great, the low mode is real good when you work on reflective surfaces.

It would be just perfect if it was a little brighter :)

I love mine too ;) its my favorite, best ergos to me, fit like a glove, and its runs on only one AA (i think the brightness is fantastic from a single AA).

From the Worker to the Delica3 ;)

I'm particularly fond of the CoPilot/SE and Hunter/SE :)

And the Delica 1st generation has the best blade shape of all the Delica's ever made IMO ;)

Hey, thanks for asking....

That is a forged leaf.

A local blacksmith forged it from bar stock right before my eyes. It was magical.

It was funny, he forged it as a demonstration, and as he was working on it, I go to thinking that maybe I could buy it, as I had seen him make it.

So, as he was talking to someone else, I asked his wife how much it would be to purchase it, and we settled on a price.

So, then I was back to watching him, but I had not mentioned buying it from him, and I asked him if he could put a 'eye' or a hook on it.

And he looked at me with a twinkle in his eye and said "You must be one of those 'function' types."

So, he put a ring on it, and he asked what I would do with it, to which I responded that I might wear it, or put it on my keys, or use it as a fob.

Then, when he was done, I informed him that I would be happy to pay for it, but he refused.

He said I did him a service by being a person who was actually interested and somewhat knowledgeable about his craft, and that had made it easier to do his demonstration.

I had to wait like 30 minutes for it to cool, on the top of the anvil. My fiancee got a great picture of it, there, with the Mission in the background.

I was on cloud nine for days....

And I still get a charge thinking about it.

If I could show you in person, I would point out what an absolute work of art it is.....

But since I cannot, here are two images, I hope you enjoy them.
