Triple B/Spyderco Folder
We need a sneak peak! Some kind of teaser! Blade steel? Lock type? Scale material? Overall length? Anything?!
As someone who came up in the hobby on Spyderco knives and BBB/Michael Christy YouTube videos, this is the single most exciting collab to date.
...I am excited :)

Re: Triple B/Spyderco Folder
I thought it was going to be CPM-15V.

Re: Triple B/Spyderco Folder
I expect it to break the Spyderco record for HRC and BTE in whatever steel they choose. Bonus points for a distal tapered handle.

Triple B oh yeah, push it to the limits.

This is super exciting! I can't wait!
Re: Triple B/Spyderco Folder
Honestly, I feel like some of these steels coming out are so insane and so overdone for 99% of the population. Yes, it's definitely cool to see what their capable of, but I bet NOBODY here really needs something this extreme for a Spyderco folder
People that cut apples and slice cardboard think they need the most extreme and exotic steel, suddenly 4V or even recently released 10V isn't enough..

Re: Triple B/Spyderco Folder
I totally agree! I like getting new steels just to have them but in reality VG10 gets the job done just fine :)TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 9:22 pmHonestly, I feel like some of these steels coming out are so insane and so overdone for 99% of the population. I do enjoy continuing to learn about and getting better at sharpening. That's the most practical aspect of the forum for me.
On topic, am really curious about BBB's collab design.
Re: Triple B/Spyderco Folder
I figured it would be SRS15, but I'm just guessing.

Re: Triple B/Spyderco Folder
It should be CPM 15V
In the pocket: Chaparral FRN, Native Chief, Police 4 K390, Pacific Salt SE, Manix 2 G10 REX45
Re: Triple B/Spyderco Folder
I must be out of the loop. I thought he was always wanting to see Spyderco use SRS15.
