Are you talking about the pivot or the lock? On almost every Manix I have, I've chopped the spring to reduce preload. One could argue that it doesn't make a whole lot of difference, but it makes me happy so I do it. Lock is big problem. I have been blessed to have been able to handle all of the Man...
