Christmas Jester

Once again I do most earnestly beseech the Yule Lord for a CPM S90V jester before the old crucible stock is used up. Maybe in the color of winter pines, or the eternal snow-gravid shade of upstate new york skies. I reckon I am a population of roughly 1 in wanting this highly specific thing, but please, let me give you my money in exchange for a small knife. Here's hoping some distributor or retailer with a fresh, savvy marketing major hire is perusing the fora and puts an order in with olll spyder company.

Any Jester really. I think Knife Joker and St Nicks were the last two. I have the Knife Jester, it's been in my pocket daily since I got it.

Actually, we need a sprint this time, so the Jester can spread Christmas spirit to every corner of the world

Yeah it was a bit of a trial to get the Knife
Jester Joker one (and now that dealer has shut).

I like this idea as long as it's done right, meaning with decent scales, and not that horrid FRN.

St Nick's exclusive could be the one. Has Seki ever worked with S90V? I'd be down for a BRG ZDP-189 to add to the set!

Aogami Superblue or White steel would be preferable. Second HAP40.

I've been pinin' for a Jester forever, it seems. Not so much since I picked up the new Dyad though.

I want to like the Jester so badly, but for knives this small I want them to be as slicey as possible, so the hollow grind needs to be really thin and as tall as possible or I'd just rather have the FFG. If the hollow can't be any thinner/higher it would be cool if the Jester blade shape could be done in FFG. It's also hard to choose a Jester over the awesome steel options I have in a Ladybug, so if they do make more Jesters it really would be cool if they were in some fancy steels.

FFG would be tough with the Jester blade shape.

GITD 20CV Jester has been in my pocket this week. The SNK 4V is sitting here on my desk waiting for it's turn lol. Between those, all of my Manbugs, and my serrated Ladybug (yard knife) I think I have enough tiny knives. I wouldn't overlook the opportunity to pick up another Jester in a different flavor.

It's essentially just a different spine shape, and would actually make the tip stronger than the standard Ladybug spine shape. I think it's doable, but the little jimped finger rest spot would be thinner.

The jimped spot would be the same, The grind would start there instead of the sabre style it has now. Just for some reason it feels like it would be weird, maybe not.
Maybe it would just be like a tiny Rock Lobster. I like that one.

Interesting, I would be willing to give it a try!
