I want to so badly, but I just can’t. I just got the St. Nick Dodo, and the Magnamax Mule drops next week.

Sorry to say, I’m skipping this one unless it’s magically in stock in the middle of a dry spell.

Have one inbound from BHQ. Have missed them the few times they pop up over the years. DLC coated M4 should be a fun knife. I'm stroked.

I just bought one from BladeHQ, I don't know how long it will take to arrive. I live in Spain.

Mine arrived today
and I am very pleased.
I have advocated for a short blade
in a full sized handle
and this... bill fits.

The black finish
hides the gleam of a hollow grind
and the glint of the swedge.
But I can live with that.

This looks like it would be
a really nasty self-defense knife.
Congratulations, Eric.

If you want to open the market for this
world wide and make a few Euros,
allow me to make a suggestion.

A modest change
in the locking mechanism profile,
a cam or ramp instead of a locking lug,
would turn the Dodo into a slip joint.

That and the short blade
should make it politically correct
in hoplophobic nations
with restrictive knife laws.

Thank you Mad Mac for taking the time to post this about Blade HQ's veteran's Discount!!! Today, I bought an M4 Dodo Natural G-10. I emailed Blade HQ an attached photo of my VA Administration ID card & my order number for the Dodo. The expected discount is equivalent to the sales tax. Cheers, Thuyen

but I wonder how a Dodo would turn out
if the Natural G10 scales were sanded smooth.

Just got this one in and I looked heaven and earth over for it. I wanted this exact knife just with the DLC-M4 steel with the SE blade.

Had to settle for one that is not coated, but I am willing to suffer a little for the SE...

I didn't know you could buy the serrated blade, Blade HQ only sells the plain edge.

I don't know how old of NIB stock knife this was. It may have came and went some time ago. I bought this one off ebay as I have bought quite a few of my M4 Spyderco knives the last year or so off ebay.

Just not found a better steel that has been on the new production knives I like. S30V is ok just wish for a more harder steel for my larger blades.

The SE Dodo was from May 2022. It sold more slowly than the PE but I think they were all gone by July.

SE from that uncoated run was $175 and PE was $155.
