Sun Classes what is the scoop, or em, good, bad, or junk

First let me say I am more of function v/s fashion. Was at the OAKLEY Shop at the Mall, and the prices are nuts for stuff made offshore with the "O" LOGO. The Glasses I like are called Holbrooks, but I want to see better when driving, not have sun blur vision, and last function is more important than being cool.

Anyone an eye care professional, and are there are CHEAP BRAND THAT ARE GOOD, AND CHEAP. Not important to me to wear same brand as over paid Baseball Player who get FREE Oakley's. :smiling-hearts

Look for lenses that are polarized or designed for blocking glare.

With any of the high end sunglasses, your just paying for the name, plus the stores overhead.

If you buy online, be sure it's a reputable business. That way you don't get scammed, plenty of fake sunglasses out there, just like knives.

I've been pleased with Goodr and Kirkland Signature (Costco). Both are polarized and ~30 dollars.

For prescription, the best pair I've ever had was Transitions Drivewear. Extremely pricey but excellent lenses.

I bought my first pair of Shady Rays in July of last year. I own 6 pairs of them now.

They are decent sunglasses with good fit and good clarity. I usually wait for a sale which they have pretty often but I honestly consider them worth the standard price of about $60.

I work part time making statewide deliveries and I like to rotate them like I do with my knives. I haven’t had the need to use their warranty yet. All 6 pairs have held up well but I just received the 6th pair yesterday.

That’s great ! My wife is extremely happy with her pair mainly because of the fit and extremely dark lenses . We are outdoors all day and she still landscapes some side jobs so good sunglasses are imperative. MG2

Not sure what happened to my prescription Ray Bans. Cannot find them. Just bought some cheap DRIVEN SUNGLASSES - ICON Smoke Gray with orange polarized lenses. Should be good enough.
