Man I want a Bodacious in this line so freaking bad. I carried the St Nick's Military in my wedding because it's so cool. I also have a 2nd's Chief that is perfect as far as I can tell, no idea why it's a 2nd.

I tried one when BHQ had an exclusive in jade. I have medium hands and I remember my pinky landing directly on top of the handle ridge.

I have XL/XXL and my fingers lined up well on the bottom half, but my thumb was a bit cramped for me to jump on these.

I might break my rule of never buying coated knives for this one. Long live the dodo!

Been wanting to try out the ball bearing lock and love the St. Nicks exclusives. Will be grabbing one for sure.

I bet this knive would have to be honed on the CBN rods.
I have diamond hones that is a block and the unique shape of the DODO blade doesn't look like it would hone on these so well.
So, I will need to get the CBN rod sharpener and the DODO to maintain it. This forum is worse than walking into a spyder web lol... just spyders everywhere.

I wanted this thing so badly that I took a late lunch to make sure I was in a place with good cell signal (my work WiFi blocks knife dealer sites) to grab one at exactly 1PM Eastern when they went live.

If it doesn’t sell out quickly I’ll look like a fool though. Oh well, it’s worth it for a Dodo. It’s one of the knives of my past that I’ve regretted selling the most.

Almost 3 hours since launch and they're still available. I did the same thing as you moving my lunch time around. No worries, we'll look like fools together.

No idea. Ordered mine eight seconds after it went live.

I've never handled this model, but I'm curious to know what you guys use it for. Does it have the same uses as a Tasman Salt or a Harpy?

Not really. The blade is too short for the work I'd use a hawkbill for, and the tip is much thinner, requiring more care in use. My user blue Dodo in S30V has had the tip broken off and reground several times.

It does make a good box cutter, and it slays clampaks like nobody's business.
