K390 level edge retention but stainless?!!
What are you looking forward to in this steel? What models?

Not 100% sure but i tought the Caly line was entrusted to Moki in Japan and Spyderco tends to not take models away from their current makers.

What i want to see in the new steel is the Manix family. If Japan would use the steel i would like a g10 Stretch 2 XL in it aswel.

This is my standard request for a Military. I would also be interested in a Stretch2XL. Thanks!

I'm sure just like MagnaCut we will see this in most Golden models eventually. Many of the newer models have not even seen K390 yet, so this is exciting.

I had wondered what the likelihood of a K390 Bodacious was, and this might be more likely to happen.

I'm plenty happy with regular K390, but... PM2, Endura, Bodacious, Ladybug, Sage2

But for the most important question... what color will the handles be? MangnaCut got yellow, would MagnaMax look good in a grey?

Is Maxamet not grey already?

I think Maxamet might be on its way out.

Para 3 (G10) please. PM2 as well, but I carry a Para 3 much more.

I speculate this would not be a "salt" worthy steel, trading other properties for some corrosion resistance after Larrin "overshot it" with Magnacut lol

I personally love grey handles and that would be my preference if it effectively replaces Maxamet in production. Plus it already had "Max" in the name so it seems like a good transition?

I'm guessing Seki will get a run of this steel at some point (or maybe not?). But I would not complain about a Delica in MagnaMax.

I vote they bring back the old ZDP-189 blue. Very nice dark Navy blue color and it seems like ZDP moved over to British Racing Green.




I would also be totally ok with bringing back Foliage Green.

I don't know if it is possible but a Spyderco Native Chief available in the steels of S110V, MagnaMax, and Maxamet would be great.

I need to get some more S110V Native Chiefs before they become scarce.
