There's an entire separate sub forum for the auto/restricted models.

I personally don't think Spyderco should spend the resources to produce an OTF, but that's simply just my opinion.

If Spyderco does make one I implore you to look into some kind of blade play stabilizer system like Microtech and G&G Hawk have done. I have a feeling this is the future of OTF designs. I didn't think the blade jiggle bothered me until I experienced an OTF without it.

And what I really think Spyderco could do that nobody else is doing is make one that is taller in the handle so it can have a taller blade height and a better slicing blade grind. Nobody is making an OTF that's on par with the slicing ability of the average Spyderco folder.

I recently purchased an OTF from your competitor. You know, the big dog who is known for OTF's. I didn't NEED an OTF, but they recently came out with a new design and I'm a sucker for mechanical gadgets. Overall it's a very nice knife. I've become accustomed to Spyderco blades, and this new knife was not that. I had to spend a little time with the diamond plates to get the edge the way I wanted it. All the time I was wondering what a Spyderco OTF would be like.
