As the owner and proud EDC of a Military w/cpm440v blade ce, I was wondering, other than blade material, what are the changes to the newer model with s30v if any? Trying to justify a purchase of a duplicate model if you know what I mean! Thanks guys and gals!

From what I read, the newer one does not have the excentric pivot anymore, since Spyderco is now able to produce them with tighter tolerances.

The current model also has thicker G10 scales.
