Always need an updated NFL thread and with the season opener on tonight, might as well get it started now.




Chiefs vs. Ravens tonight!

Edit - Screw the NFL and their exclusive sharing rights. Tried posting a YouTube preview of the season opener but the NFL blocked embedded sharing...

As a Giants fan, I'm really not at all excited about football this year. But as someone invested in 4 fantasy leagues, I'm very interested haha! Loaded with players going tonight

LOL! You know I'm in the exact same boat as a Pats fan. It's a weird feeling going into a season knowing they will have the #1 overall pick in the next draft.

Yes, VERY strange feeling for you the past couple seasons. Felt like we'd never see the days of the 1980's Pats again after that legendary run!

I still love the game in general...just sucks not feeling that way about my own team. That's fine though, we'll miss the playoffs another 3-5 years, then come back and win a Super Bowl or two and then fade away into the darkness again for another 15 years

I got the 2 worst QB's in the entire League!
I'd kill to have either of yalls QB's!
Man, talk about DEPRESSING- we also now have to pay for playoff games and other reg season games now and that will only get worse, much worse.
You would think fans would buck and not only not pay for those games but quit watching at all to get the leagues attention- but, you would also think that Mike Tomlin wouldn't go after the 2 worst QB's in the league either
I'm just not sure if I'm gonna mess with the NFL much this year or not - gonna be extremely hard to ignore it

Our teams really are awful haha!

Trust me, it's going to happen. I'm genuinely considering betting on it too because it's easy money. I need to find the best odds I can sooner than later though because I'm just wasting money the longer I wait.

I don't blame you and in fact, I support that decision! I really despise this whole subscription service trend that the league is moving towards. Only reason I'm watching tonights game is because I can mooch off of a family members subscription.

Not much defense tonight. Of course, a very neutral site...though an atrocious field, surprised these guys are playing on it, honestly. The crowd vibe is off, no home field advantage.

Besides that...it's been entertaining haha!

Unbelievable game for the Pats over the Bengals today! I’m shocked they were able to pull the upset off because I was genuinely expecting an 0-17 or 1-17 season.
