Would someone please post a picture showing the difference in the shade of yellow of the H1/H2 Salt series and the Magnacut Salts?

Or worded in more generic terms; Seki Salt-yellow vs Golden Salt-yellow.
Indoor lighting:
Outdoor lighting:
Personally I like the FRN on Seki Salts better, both for the colour hue and how it feels in hand.

Yeah, the Seki is great in real life.

This was from when I got my MagnaCut Native 5.
Those are all H1 besides the Native and even they have different shades, and none of them are sun faded.

So H1/H2 is a mellow yellow and Magnacut is sunflower yellow, it seems. Thank you all. I am trying to decide on a UKPK in either Magnacut or SPY27. I don't know if I like that shade of yellow, or not. It may have to grow on me. The SPY27 is an easy choice as it is a nicer color, to me. (I also like the LC200N green)

The Atlantic here is quite light compared to what I remember my Salt 2 being. I consider the MC yellow to be a "mango" color.

If you can overlook the color, the performance is much greater from MC than SPY27.
MC has greater edge stability, edge retention, shock resistance, and stainlessness, though is noticeably harder and thus takes longer to sharpen. You'll most likely prefer and get the most out of the steel in sharpening with diamond or cbn abrasives.
SPY27 is a fine steel for EDC; gets extremely sharp easily, will stay sharp quite a long while with maintenance, though I find it falling short in terms of edge stability. I can get it to blunt and roll rather easily in my usage, where MC will take the licking and keep on ticking.
The yellow (Golden Salt series) isn't all that garish, really. At least IMO. Cosmetics take a backseat to performance, for me, as cosmetics can be altered from a ELU standpoint much easier than performance. Just a bit of food for your thoughts, as the two are priced rather neck-and-neck, but miles apart in performance. Again, JMO and IME.

Since you're interested in the Magnacut UKPK here is a photo with that knife for reference, taken with outdoor lighting. My UKPK is a shade of yellow that is in between the lighter H2 Dragonfly and the darker Magnacut Native 5 LW.
And when I bought it I thought if I don't like the yellow color I can always Rit dye it, but as you can see I'm OK with yellow
Hope this helps!

Yes, that actually does help. Thanks. That is not a bad yellow. I really don't care for the mustard yellow on the Native Salt, but the UKPK isn't bad.

Make a few fixed blade knives and yellow is the hardest colour to get G10 in that is consistent from every time I have bought a sheet.
Even from the same stockists a few weeks apart.
Even buying a 5mm sheet and a 1mm sheet at the same time I could get 2 shades of yellow.
Blue, red, green, purple, orange and other colours so many stockists have the same colour from week, month to year and several stockists all carry the same.

That's what I was figuring. It was pretty well worn and beat up when I bought it.
