PM2 Salt DLC MagnaCut HRC?

Hi,
I just bought a PM 2 Salt in DLC coated MagnaCut and I am cutout what the HRC would be on a DLC MagnaCut blade. Because of the application of DLC coating the hardness is sometimes lower than without a coating due to the heat of application.
And what would the normal HRC be on Spyderco MagnaCut?
To complete the knife I just bought OD green AWT scales and a milled clip

As for the HRC, Spyderco typically runs MagnaCut around 63-64 HRC, but you’re right—DLC coating can sometimes slightly lower it due to the heat process. That said, Spyderco is known for keeping their heat treat on point, so it should still perform like a champ. Enjoy your new blade!
