Hey everybody! Figured I would start a thread about Blade Show since it’s only a few weeks away. We definitely have a few forumites I know of for sure that will be there as well as some of my friends that frequent the seconds sale. It’ll be there first year to see the prototype booth so I’m pretty stoked for them!

Anyone else planning on taking the trip?

If anyone wants to meet up I’d be more than happy to. If you need any tips if it’s your first trip please comment in the thread or pm me and I’ll be more than happy to answer any and all questions I can.

We should do a Forum Meet-up spot. That would be kinda cool. Maybe later in one of the days to avoid the rush and find it time of the day.

Got my ticket for Atlanta! The Spyderco booth is always packed. The prototype section is one of my favorites of the show. Gonna be a good year for Blade. I should be around the Pit area Friday night.

I've been to every BLADE show since '95 - I'll be there.

Hoping to be able to go Friday & Saturday. Fun part this year is my oldest son, who inherited the knife-nut gene, will be along. Even more fun is he finished college & has an adult job with adult money - I think I might have to rein him in.

I wonder if Spyderco will have show specials or any “FCFS” again this year.

The Sage is one of the best all-arounders and the Sage5 might be one of the best executed Spyderco knives IMO... Glad to see it getting so much love! Sage5 in Magnacut is announced the day after I buy a Para3 Salt :facepalm

I've been playing with the idea of making the rex Sage my first Sage. It was already a tough decision before the MC Sage was revealed, now it's even harder.

Neither is available just yet, and I have a M2 Salt in the mail, so with time and some more experience with MC I'll hopefully be able to figure out which direction to go.
