Different Generation Ladybugs

#1

Post by acarlsson918778 »

Hi All,
I recently picked up 2 Ladybugs second hand and noticed the markings on them are different. I’m hoping someone here can help confirm they are genuine. And, if they both are, what generations they might be. The grey one is a pinned version and the color was listed as Foliage Green. The little I know is that Foliage Green looks grey, and there is a Grey version that is supposedly very rare. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!Image[/img][/googlevideo][/img][/img]

They are both 3rd Generation, just different production runs. The one is indeed Foliage green, a color developed to match Army uniform color, rather than the older and much more rare grey.

The black one is a bit newer, after the change to screw construction and with Sal's mark added.
