Congratulations to everyone who participated in the MBC Level 1 and 2 classes in Los Angeles this past weekend. Thanks to your hard work and dedication, in addition to covering the complete Level 1 and 2 curriculum, we were able to address a number of other topics and training goals, including an extensive discussion of knife design and construction and the defensive use of the cane and flexible weapons.

I would also like to express my sincere thanks to our host, Gabe Suarez, who not only organized the event and trained with us, but also served as distinguished meat puppet for all my demonstrations.

Mike, thank you for your time and your expertise. I think what surprised me the most was not the depth and fluidity of your skill, but your genuine passion to teach and overall, down to earth demeanor. I've not previously participated in a seminar/camp sort of training environment and can only say I'm looking forward to doing MBC 3/4 and the CBC courses.

And yes, thanks to Gabe who hosted this and is not only a gifted combatant, but an all around solid guy. Between you and Gabe, it's a rarity to find so much experience and so little (NO) attitude.

Thanks Mike! And to everyone else, I've just solidified a return class to L.A. next November. This will cover MBC 1&2 again on saturday-Sunday, with MBC 3&4 on Monday-Tuesday.

And as long as I'm in town, we'll add an additional two classes on Wednesday-Sunday.

Wednesday and Thursday we'll do Close Range Gunfighting 2. If you liked Close Range Gunfighting, CRG2 will astound you. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we'll do Rifle Gunfighting.

So we'll go from In-Your-Face range to wayyyy out there in a week. More will be posted on teh website in the coming weeks.
