Taiwan earthquake and Spyderco…

Hopefully the factory, workers and families were spared the carnage shown on our news.

Yes, hoping that all is well there and will return to normal soon.

Taichung is towards the western side of the island, whereas Hualien, which received the brunt of the quake, is on Taiwan’s east coast, so any damage that may have happened in Taichung would likely be minor compared to Hualien.

I lived in Taiwan for many years (in Taipei), and had traveled throughout the island, so this hits home for me. Not to mention, in November 1986, I was in an earthquake there that had the entire building I was in rocking in a very scary way.

Prayers sent to those who were affected by the earthquake.

I'm waiting for a response. I was in a earthquake in Taipei about 20 year ago. Buildings shaking, but noting came down. This one was quite strong.

Just learned about this from the news.

Hope there won´t be more deaths than the ones already reported, which are tragic enough already.

My best wishes to the Spyderco folks over there and of course generally ALL Taiwanese people.

Just learned about it this morning. The crooked building was really shocking. I hope they find every missing people in good health, and send prayers for those who are sadly gone.

This is sad. Prayed.
