Military 2 CF s90v sprint run

#1

Post by Eliteone2383 »

I've missed just about every sprint run I've been interested in. Either it released while I was sleeping or at work. Does anyone know when this milli 2 sprint run will drop? I have 5 pages to sites that will have it once it drops open and the knife in my wishlist on all 5 pages. Any recommendations or even ballpark time of release is appreciated. I have anxiety over this one lol.

Stick around. You'll get plenty of notice if you watch the forum.

I’ve been wrong before but I expect this one to be fairly attainable. It’s going to be a $300+ knife with no new steel or scales we haven’t seen before. I love S90V and carbon fiber as much as the next guy but the flippers won’t have any profit expectations with this one; just good old fashioned fans and collectors shelling out their hard earned coin. Do a J for your anxiety, or for fun, but you’ll be alright. I’d bet the farm on it.

It's just my opinion, but Carbon Fiber and S90V is a very special combination.

It's certainly my favorite. My pm3 sprint run has been my favorite edc for awhile now.

The low weight and balance on my Millie CF s90v is excellent. Have not handled the Millie 2 yet but would love to get it, mainly because of the compression lock.

I don’t know what it is about S90V, but it just seems to take a wicked edge with only a modest effort. My Yojumbo CF S90V is a delight to use and live with, so I can only imagine this will be a similar kettle of fish.

Judging from the responses I'll be in the same predicament as many times before. Get the knife in my cart click purchase and get the sold out prompt lol

The price is going to be $315 for a 4" blade knife with no titanium. It will not sell out instantly.

For me, the KW exclusive RIL CF/Ti Millie in S90V is the Military to end all of them. The King. I am the proud owner of two of them. That being said I shall do my best to get at least one Military 2 in CF and S90V.

I wasn't a fan of the original. I am only interested now because of the compression lock. The compression lock makes it a winner now. Will probably own multiple variants.

Nobody knows when but at some point sellers will make announcements and then people will immediately post it here in Sprints/Exclusives thread and the Delivered & Upcoming thread:

S90V ranks with K390, Maxamet, 15V all day. Maybe a perception that it's old hat somehow causes people to sleep on it. CF is a bonus, but I'd take S90V with any G-10 too.

I dont know how anyone could sleep on s90v. I get it to a mirror polish and it cuts tissue paper. Does it take me a long time to get s90v to a mirror polish? Yes but that edge holds for a long time.

I'm always shocked at how S90V sprints and exclusives hang around. I think BHQ (or someone) has a teal G-10 S90V PM2 for near 20$ less than the s30V version. The fluted CF Native5 in S90V is a standard production knife. I think the Native5 is the nicest standard production knife Spyderco has ever made. There are definitely others who share my opinion, but people are way more excited for things like Crucarta than S90V and CF.

I don't care much (or at all :shush ) for the M2, but I'll most likely be getting the S90V, if only to bring a new play pal to these fellas
