Roughly 3 weeks, it has over 20 layers of Tru-Oil finish on it, takes time to dry/polymerize and has to be hard enough to polish so most of the time was waiting. 24 hour cure epoxy and the multi part construction is 2 epoxy steps, gluing the liner to the scales that go between the handle and the steel has to be done separately to make sure it's all flat.

Both woods change color in the light as you rotate it around. It really is a magnificent result.

Beautifully done. I'd love to learn how to do this--I've built a lot of (crude) furniture and I always struggle with finishes...staining, poly. I want to donate my K294's G10 scales to the HIC and do something in wood. Nice job!
