MT40P - HIC Mule Team MORE TO COME!

I posted this in the announcement thread, but I don't want it to be missed.
Hey, everyone:
We just confirmed that there will be more MT40P made available at a later date (more information to follow). Since they are hand-sharpened here, it's a time-consuming process, and we didn't want to hold up the release any longer. If you'd like, you can contact SFO via email at
sfo@spyderco.com and ask to be added to a Bug list. Once more are available, SFO will contact you and let you know. We'll also have more of the MTSH3 sheaths available.

It's too bad more people aren't aware that more are coming. Saw one on eBay that's already got a $305 bid.
I always think, "I should just buy two and sell one for twice the price to get it free."

Why would anybody buy a ceramic mule direct from Spyderco for $150 when they could buy from a flipper on eBay for $250-$450?

Same reason as for paying $120 for a SPY27 on fleabay vs buying direct from Spyderco for $60. Some people..........

Thanks for this information. I wasn’t able to get one and the secondary market is astronomically sad, so this is really encouraging news.

I'm gonna try to score one when they become available. I have a few ideas I'd like to test out for myself. Getting a second chance to test this material is greatly appreciated.
