Spyderco Byte / Shot show question

#1

Post by ChrisinHove »

The Shot Show report in the February Byte tells us Paul Alexander and Shaun Houston were showing prototypes.

Any clues or hints? I am excited by the prospect of new designs from these guys!

I would imagine that the 15v Manix 2 LW was among those for BBB. Eric showed a sneak peek of this knife and said 15v would be implemented in others too. No idea of the others.

A small liner lock prototype was mentioned in one of the Shot Show threads.

Shawn had a really interesting prototype skinning knife. Small, like 2.5" blade, big belly, thin, but the main thing was the spydie hole was essentially inside the scale when closed. This lead to a large cutout in the scale that functioned for both spydie hole access, and easy access to the liner lock release.
