Not a country music fan, but I know he was extremely popular and talented. We used to go to one of his establishments at our local mall when it was still open a few years back. Always drew a crowd there, I'm sure because of his name alone!

I was surprised. I had no idea he was sick.

Yeah I heard first thing this morning. I'm big music fan, including Toby Keith and country music. Last I heard I thought he was doing better but probably just a late rally.

I've never been a Country music fan, but man back in the day when he'd show up on the Bob & Tom show I became a huge fan of his, the guy was hilarious, he would have them rolling!

I've never been one to sit and listen to country music. But I do love his music, so country must be growing on me.

I'm not a huge country guy, but I used to go to his concerts with a group of friends who were really into him. I went to 4-5 shows between maybe 2008 and 2015.. that man was an entertainer, it can't be denied.. fan of country music or not, his concerts were always a good time! The tailgating environment was always awesome too, which probably helped haha..

I was saddened to hear of his passing this week.. definitely a little reminder that i'm not as young as I once was.. some pretty funny pictures were shared in a group chat with old friends that eased the pain haha.. thanks for the good times, Toby.

Just a general comment.

There is no reason whatsoever to die before 110. The governments around the globe spend many hundreds of billions on wars and their military every year. And, NO, I do not live in a bubble, and I am hard core 2nd Amendment, nonetheless it is a waste of money and life. I'm 63 and I've seen this war garbage ongoing for my entire life. There are evil people and I am not sure what to do with them.

The monies should be spent on healthcare and research to extend health- and lifespan.

Unless people are 110 they are dying too young. There are a ton of DRs and longevity experts working to make 110+ a reality, and if I am lucky at 63 may be able to get in on some of the solutions.

It's slow going but every year there are breakthroughs. They are working simultaneously on extending health-span and life-span. It does not make sense to push out living longer if you are ill.

The NIH's ITP is looking for and testing compounds that will extend life. I take 35+ supplements every day to push out my health- and lifespan every day.

ITP compounds found to extend life, that now must be tested on humans.
