I finally got my hands on a Gayle Bradley folder, the 2nd edition with jade G10 and Cruwear. It's such a straightforward design with really no nonsense or unnecessary features. It's just a solid blade shape, with no finger choil and a very sturdy handle that feels full and solid. When I hold it, I can't help but think how based this knife is. I'm glad to have one.

i really want to try one of these. i'm honestly a little worried it would become my new favorite model because i love a good hollow grind. i'd really like to see one in magnacut or something stainless though. i got spots on my cruwear ayoob, so i might as well just go with m4 if i'm going to get a gb2. i'd have to get micarta scales to go with it though. fancy cf and patina don't go together imo.

Got these scales from Sharp dressed knives recently. Love these with the GB2! I do not let the M4 patina yet 🫣 Such a great blade 🤩

I agree, a good knife. Out of my collection the knife I compare to often is the stretch 2 straight spine(the drop point version would be even more comparable) they’re both phenomenal designs, but I think I prefer the stretch ergonomics just a little better. A few reasons being: it’s a lockback, has a comfortable choil, and a prominent guard and pinky hook to the handle design. but I do love the drop point shape with the deep hollow grind of the Gayle Bradley blades. I would love a spyderco stretch 1 or 2 drop point with a hollow saber grind.

I'm still trying to decide between CF or Jade.
