Hi! I have heard from a Native owner that there is a tendency for lock wear in Spyderco Knives, I own several Spydercos with no problem up to now. Does anybody have such a problem with locks? After how long of regular use?

All I can tell you is that everything wears with use. Be it a rifle, knife, or your car. If you use your tool alot, there will be wear. I just get the thought from your post that you worried about "Spyderco" products, well, if you use it, it will wear and need sharpening, and cleaning/lubrication. I just want to point out that this will happen with anything you use daily. One main difference will be how you use it, abuse it, and maintain it. Now if you are talking about what might be considered a poor product, that is a whole different story.
