Re: Mystery Box
Got my $250 box, not the Shaman I was crossing my fingers for but very happy. The cheap Uptern is surprisingly a neat little knife. The Manix will be an immediate user to test SPY27. The PM3 I am not sure what I will do with, already have two PM3s and it seems almost too nice to use.
Thanks for the opportunity Spyderco.

Re: Mystery Box
That's a good box. The little thing on the left really adds nothing, IMO, but the Para 3 and Manix are very nice.

Man, that S90V/15V combo is one of the best ones I’ve seenWilliamMunny wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2023 12:11 pmBoth are $250 boxes:

It’s a mystery box, you can see why one person might love their box while the other might be disappointed. They are the same price but I know which box I would much rather have. It’s a gamble if you are prepared to win you need to be ready for the other side.
I get my box today, hope I am in the 15v group.
You should never have to ask yourself "do i really need another knife?" The answer is obvious...

I'd definitely prefer box number one.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Not my $400 mystery box, saw a post from another platform. At least someone landed the Paysan.

Picked up a Uptern for the same price $33 in the last 2nds online sale with a ZDP-189 Mule.WilliamMunny wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2023 1:00 pmGot my $250 box, not the Shaman I was crossing my fingers for but very happy. Great little knife that has surprised me at how solid it is. Can’t fault it in any way and bang for buck is unbelievable.
Would definitely keep it in mind in the future as a knife to buy and engrave for a present even at full price ($48 at Knifecenter)

Re: Mystery Box
Here's my $250 box. Didn't know that seconds could include used items, as the Pingo appears to be, and it's also missing a screw on the other side. Reached out to customer support on this, but haven't heard back.
Love the glow zome Delica. But this box isn't a great fit for me otherwise, as 3 of the 4 are slipjoints or serrated.

Re: Mystery Box
Is that Pingo used or just rough? Could have been damaged in shipping (before being a second). Who knows.
If you get a sharpmaker to maintain it, you might find you love that serrated Shaman. Check out the serrated sharpening thread pinned to the top of the forum.

Seems I could not post the picture.
Its a Paysan, S90V Urban, and little knife with a scissor. I am quite happy with the content.
