Formidable woman. I was unaware any human force could deconstruct the edge of a particle metallurgy knife so quickly, while cutting cardboard.

Assuming, of course, she is human.

Well K390 wins again. It is unstoppable.
Could there be any higher praise than this, given the months-long slog under horrific working conditions? :star-struck :bug-red-white

Bolster I wrote down some emotions I was feeling. I mean what better to graphically represent than emotions right. I noticed there was a point where things escalated.

However great that thread was, this has to be your best post!
Bolster was right, science just made a huge leap.
I now consider myself fully scienced. What a service you have provided, Jeff.

In all seriousness I’ve heard they’re all aliens from Venus. There was a book about it a few years back.

There in the midst of chaos, you will see it. A beautiful SpydieChef in its natural environment.

Away for a weekend in a cabin with only trash kitchen knives. So here we go! Let's see what we can do.

Uses so far:
- cheese cutter
- spreader
- package opener
- dicer
- scraper

If you were wondering, cheese is not a good substitute for nano oil in the pivot area but it seems to keep on trucking.

I don’t know what I’m more impressed by Jeff - your selfless dedication to Science-ing irrespective of the travails of geographic location or ready access to granite sideboards, or the fact that you appear to be able to eat what appears to be a metric kilo of sour cream in one sitting. Bravo on both counts sir 👏🏻

I see Rotel and sour cream, so I suspect some sort of dip for chips or tacos.

Your wife is learning and she learned a lesson my wife learned, almost. I wife now hates liner locks and won't touch them. She really likes back locks, though.

You nailed it! 4 versions of homemade chip dip! And after loving the linerlock Polestar, she now prefers the Lock Back. She will probably settle on the K390 Endela with the never ending edge.

However, science must go on.

Since it is all the rage, I wonder how Magnacut will fare with her? It will be in the Endela one of these days.

Given the abusive environment, maybe Cruwear would be a good steel to evaluate and compare to K390? I'd advocate for Rex45, but it's not a regular production steel (yet). Thank you for running these tests for us.

Heck, more than that! This enterprise is going where no man is even allowed.
