Thought you all might like this picture.
Had another great visit to Spyderco today. Had a wonderful conversation with Ed out front and bought a new Native 5 S90V with the amazing op focus discount.

Just driving around the block I figured that floor space in the new expansion is probably over twice the size of the original building. Looking at it from the air, that could easily be the case.

Nice picture.

If I'm not mistaken, Spyderco is adding 80,000 sq.ft.! :zany

Just to better imagine how much bigger the new production space is . Anybody perhaps know what part of the older building in the picture is the current factory floor? :thinking
Because we know the older building is besides the production also the shop , offices , warehouse for parts,… so there is allot going on there in the current building besides building spydies. :beaming-face

Okay that is huge! I guess Sal might need a golf cart now when he needs to check something in the very back… Maybe a convertible roof one with a V8 engine ( instead of electric) and a giant Spyderco logo on the hood. :zany

From what I saw when the construction boss showed me around, I'd say the new production space is about five times what they currently have. Hard to be certain since there wasn't any machinery or work stations in the new space, and open spaces look much bigger than when they are full of equipment.
