GP getting greedy wanting $120.. not a Great Price :winking-tongue
Once you add California Sales Tax it becomes $131.40 shipped!
For REAL. It adds up.

GP Knives’ $120 price is because they used the current MAP of 25% off MSRP instead of the old MAP of 30% off MSRP or $112 like others. MSRP on the Catcherman is $160.

I know I'm like a 33rpm record album with a scratch/skip in it. But I still can't for the life of me understand why they won't make the Catcherman model in full SE again. And this new model with the corrosion resistant steel would be perfect for a full SE blade.

There are some fish fillet jobs where a full SE blade would be extremely helpful. Also there are dozens of food processing jobs where a full SE blade would be a God-Send. If they did at least 20% of their production in full SE I'm certain they would sell out.

Happy to get an order in at KSF today, as I had a $20 shop credit there. So $92 all in for me. They're still in stock.

Now that Spyderco is re-releasing classic salt models in updated steels, when can we get a Spyderhawk in Magnacut or LC200N?

I also wouldn't mind seeing some salt fixed blades in these steels. Either the original salt fixies, or salt versions of the other plastic-handled fixies, the OG Temperance or Street Bowie.

I just received a batch of 33 rpm albums for my almost new turntable, so now I just need to catch a Catcherman before I can sit back, relax and enjoy my catch. I like it just the way it comes, but I think they could have sold both versions pretty easily.
For something like this I wish they'd do something similar to the way Benchmade do (at least some of) their limited runs, where they make as many as they can sell for a full year and then seize production.
I hate chasing sprints and limited editions, and avoid it as much as I can. With a set number of knives and an unknown percentage that will trickle out to European dealers I'm not very optimistic may efforts will pay off, but this is something you don't see every day and I think it could be useful enough to justify the chase.

Strange how all these dealers still have them in stock nearly 8 hours after Buddafucco’s post from this morning. Not popular even for a Sprint Run at a great price!?

One less at KSF.
I just received a bonus from my last employer, opened up my emails to find a flyer from KSF.
And took that as a sign ;)
This is the first time I have even thought about getting a sprint run.

If I can get one, it looks like the price will be the equivalent of USD 112 + VAT + processing = about USD 160. Hopefully I can avoid the shipping fee, but then I will have to buy something else as well, to get above the free shipping threshold. So not exactly free shipping :)
Still not that much more than CA, which is nice.

You think we won't be able to get one right here in Europe?!
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)
