i've already got my favorite knife in 15v, but the military 2 would be pretty cool. on the other hand, a super ukpk would be cool too. i voted military 2, but ukpk would get my second place vote if we were allowed more than one vote.
Voted Native 5 but a Para 3 would work just as well for me. I really would like 15V in a 3" blade, as sometimes I prefer carrying knives in that size range.
A Military 2 would be fun, but it's too big for me to legally carry so it would only be a piece for the collection.
Because desolate places allow us to breathe. And most people don't even know they're out of breath.
I'm happy with the PM2 I just received. So I think I'm content but, I had to choose from the models posted I think Native 5 and Para 3 are logical choices for me.
A Para 3 LW or Manix 2 LW are probably the only other 15V models I'd consider buying
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most!
I was almost certain I'd be the only Siren voter thus far but was astonished to see one other vote for it lol.
I'd love a Siren in a high-alloy tool steel like 15V.
I would have voted for the Siren too if I felt entitled to participate in the poll in the first place (but I really can't weigh in on 15V).
Such a pity that it got discontinued, and I figure it would be a great platform for those who can and want to handle 15V!
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)
If it can be done, please make a huge run of 15V Spyderco Native Chiefs. I'll buy at least 2 to 4 of them if allowed to do so. To me it would be the folder of a lifetime.
15V is more than 10% better in cutting potential than S90V. I have been carrying an S90V Spyderco Native Chief since they hit the market.
The S90V Spyderco Native Chief is hands down the best folder that I have, and I have collected a ton of knives and stick to this observation. Making the Spyderco Native Chief in 15V is what any good knife collector calls for!!!
I don't carry a firearm for self defense, I carry a Spyderco Native Chief!
All of the above are fine choices; however, I don't see any fixies listed. A few years ago, a Phil Wilson prototype filet fixed blade was proposed in two different sizes, but nothing ever came of it. A 15V fillet fixie might require a little more corrosion maintenance, but it would be a workhorse for me. No sweat on the corrosion maintenance for me as a 15V Phil Wilson filet would never leave the house as I do most of my fish cleaning and all of my filleting at home.
