We would like to sincerely thank everyone for their interest in the Factory Seconds Sale! The volume of traffic on our website was unprecedented. We know there were challenges and frustrations. We hear you. We’ve read every thread/post and comment on our forum and social accounts. Rather than address them point by point, we’d simply like to say, we’re sorry. We are making improvements, and we will continue to strive to do better in the future. We genuinely appreciate each and every one of you.

We are working to resolve any outstanding issues since the close of the 2023 Online Factory Seconds Sale and get orders processed and shipped as soon as possible. We’re still “listening” and appreciate your comments & feedback!

MUCH APPRECIATION to Sal and you Ms Kristi, and the rest of the Spyderco management, for holding the sale again, and for acknowledging the shortcomings of the whole event - and despite all the challenges, are still working hard to pack and ship all the orders, as well as promising improvements.

In all honesty you all could have just been silent on the whole matter and swept it under the rug. This gesture should not be a surprise for Spyderco fans worldwide, because your company's aim is integrity and excellence.

Thank you and we all cannot wait to receive our orders from the sale, and we look forward for more online events like this so fans from around the world can participate again, next time hopefully with a vastly improved user experience.

No need to apologize for anything when spyderco did nothing wrong. Truth is spyderco has a desirable product for knife users and enthusiasts. It happens to nearly any website with high traffic. Which is quite normal.

I said it in other threads but I'd like to post it here too.

While I got frustrated at times with the website not loading for hours, that was the only frustrating part.

Dealing with the people that make up the company, my interactions were overwhelmingly positive. It's a sign of strong character keeping your composure during such a busy shift.

Thanks Spyderco and staff for working hard to put on this event it is greatly appreciated. While I was frustrated and disappointed during this sale, as I was not able to order, I will still be first in line on the next seconds sale. You guys really do 99% of everything great, unfortunately it includes making a great product EVERYONE wants overwhelming your servers.

Also a shout out to your website developer. I called to get my account unblocked from the 8002 error, left my name. While it was not unblocked in time for me to buy anything I was not forgotten about and today it was fixed. Great job on their part, amazing customer service.

Thanks for offering the sale. I for one wouldn’t be able to drive to Golden for an in person seconds sale. I’m excited to receive a Mystery box, think it’s a great idea. Some of you guys make this place insufferable these days...no wonder so many of the regulars during my 6 years here on a daily basis, have left the forum or are rarely around these days. Christ.
