Magnacut has become my favorite steel - seems almost perfectly well-rounded. So, is there any chance we'll see one of my two favorite knives - the Para 3 or PM 2 in Magnacut any time soon?

This is actually a great idea. I dont own any magnacuts right now but a pm2 would be a great first. pm2 was my first ever spyderco and I love it

The pm2 salt in Magnacut was already shown off at the Amsterdam meet earlier this year as a preproduction sample. So should be seeing it hopefully sometime this year i imagine. There's photos of it here on the forum somewhere or if you just Google it.

Yes there will be. Spyderco showed previews of a Magnacut PM2 Salt at their Amsterdam meet this year.

Keep in mind, this was just a generous preview of a prototype Spyderco has. The knife will still need to be formally featured in their Reveal catalogs before we will have an idea of release.

I would venture to guess that we might have a PM2 Salt in hand by this time next year.

(I'm saying 'no' because that makes it more likely the answer will be 'yes.' I have a very strong track record of not being able to predict what Spyderco will do. I'm the George Costanza of Spyderco forumites. Spyderco does the opposite of what I think they will.)

That Salt PM2 will be Sweet! I will be all over that one.
