Endela v. Leafstorm v. Para3 v. Lil T in K390

I'm wondering what the leafstorm offers that the endela does not vs. the Lil Temperance? In all the offerings I'm wondering if K390 will offered in LW P3 format. Bento had the G10 version (I think it sold out). I know lots of offerings for different people's tastes but they seem somewhat similar

I’m guessing you mean LeafJumper, as the Leafstorm is long discontinued. (But a K390 Leafstorm sounds like a winner to me!) ;)

There are a bunch of technical differences but one of the most noticeable differences will be ergonomics between the models. The Leafjumper has more neutral ergonomics opposed to the Endela with defined finger grooves.

The Endela has a slightly longer blade at 3.41” compared to the Leafjumper at 3.09” and Lil Temp 3 at 2.92”.

The Lil Temp 3 LW offers a different lock, thicker blade thickness, and more hand filling ergonomics. It’s difficult to perceive entirely through photos but the Lil Temp 3 is kind of a chunky knife in comparison to the LeafJumper and Endela. It has a tall handle, comparable to the Shaman and it may even be taller than it.

A K390 Para3 LW definitely seems like it could be a possibility, especially after Spyderco finishes their factory expansion in Golden. Maybe even sooner, difficult to know.

LeafJumper would be my choice if you had to decide between them.
In my opinion, the LT3LW is different enough from the others to be it’s own consideration.

The LeafJumper is just better than the Endela in every way for me. Better handle, less jimping, no choil or exposed ricasso. Of course, preferences will vary between people.

The Endela is a great knife, though!
The LT3LW is something I plan to try eventually because I think I will like it’s grip even more than I do my RockJumper due to the way height, thickness, and handle length affect ergonomics for me.

I read Superleaf when you said Leafstorm. Ironically I have owned both in the past

BentoBox still has K390 Para 3 in stock, but for like $250+ shipped :hot-face If you really want that combo, AWT Agent scales really cut down the weight of the Para 3. But that still won't get ya a wire clip like on the LW.

If I remember correctly, Golden ran their K390 a few points lower than Seki. No matter what, K390 is a good steel but that might also factor into your decision.

I'm personally considering a K390 Lil Temperance. It's the only model that features a compression lock and Seki's K390. I've only held a Lil Temperance once but was blown away by how comfortable it was. It convinced me enough to potentially drop $200+ on the K390 model when it's available.

You all are going to have me spending more money. I regularly carry the Bento K390 P3 with a lynch clip. I love it, I keep coming back to it. But the Lil Temperance may win me over

Can confirm, LT3LW is chunky. It is too big to keep in right front pocket with my keys and slim wallet. So in the back right pocket it goes. But my goodness is that thing comfy.

I’d love to see the Golden plant run k390 a little harder like what comes out of seki city… absolutely incredible steel! Love my endela in k390!
