Pick One Favorite.

Post by Jerome Howard »

Yes. You CAN do it. Pick your favorite Spyderco. If you can't pick just one, just head on out the back. :cheap-sunglasses

Mine is my PM2 Crucarta. It is absolutely mechanically perfect, with the smoothest action I've ever felt on any Spyderco knife. Coupled with the awesome blade steel. the steel liners, and the scales, makes it my favorite.

Manix 2 LW Rex45.
Very close runner ups would be Jade PM2 M4 or green PM2 K390.
I shouldn't even try to pick a favorite, I like so many.

If I'm really honest, probably the K390 Stretch 2.

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Spyderco Native Chief in S90V with Carbon Fiber scales.

So far I've been lucky and managed to acquire all of the different Spyderco Native Chiefs. I'll try to keep up and get whatever comes next too even though money is so tight I squeak!

Impossible to pick. I have about 60 Spydercos. Last week was a Shaman Zwear, this week is an Ayoob PE

The C52GY. It really is hard to pick one favorite though because of different sizes, carries and uses… the calypso, kopa, and Caly 3 are also at my top favorite spyderco knives.

PM2 Tanto all the way. It was the knife that started the obsession for me - before that I used to just have some knives, now I have a curated selection. And a much lighter wallet 😜

:thinking

Are we talking pocket knife (like folding), fixed blade or kitchen knife? In the current way I live my life… dragonfly salt SE for an everyday carry knife.

Fixed blade probably the Bradley Bowie, since we can only have 1.

That would actually be a good combo

And I don’t own any Spyderco kitchen knives… yet

Not only your photos and taste in blades lead me to several impulse purchases lately (no complains🤣) but also you teasing us showing K390 PM2 and saying you favorite is K390 Stretch 😁🤜
Recent favourites: Massad Ayoob CPM CRU-WEAR PE & SE, Yojimbo 2, Lil' Temperance 3.
