Yeah I don't get it. Is it the gray spot on the scale or something? If you'd like I can Venmo you the price you paid for it and you can ship it to me so you're not out money.

Having 3 of them, I'm guessing he was looking to flip a few. Bad juju.

Just read through his 6 posts...clearly a flipper. I like karma sometimes :cheap-sunglasses

Please explain the QC issue. I haven’t heard of any yet.

That photo quality is Sasquatch/UFO level resolution so it's really hard to discern any defects.

It looks like it has an unsanded spot in the center of the scales. Higher resolution pictures would be better to see the issue. As a flipper he should have a better camera to better exploit the FOMO. :tonque-out

On a serious note, Spyderco QC should always catch these issues on one-and-done runs as there is no way for the customer to get a replacement under warranty.

I'll buy it at cost from you. I would guess you will not accept this so that disproves your theory of unsalable.

My Shaman had the same “dry” spot on the handle. Rubbed a little mineral oil into it, and it’s gone.

Sorry, no sympathy for flippers.

More power to the flippers!

You can still sell that knife for a profit, easily. You've already had two offers to buy it at cost, so I promise you someone else would pay more than that for it. Good luck in your sale!

Let's call it factory second. I'll give you 150 for it and i'll cover the shipping to the UK. How about that? :zany

I agree total junk second knife, but so you don't lose too much I will give you $200, just to help you out.

On the more helpful side maybe put some custom wood scales on it and keep it for yourself, be a beautiful knife. If you are looking to sell all three probably not the best place to be posting, pure reselling is not very popular on here, or anywhere for that matter.

You could also return it so someone else could be lucky enough to have the chance to buy it, get your money back at least. Good luck.

Use this one and sell the other two.

Novel idea, I know...

If he's clearly is a flipper, then screw him! Let him be stuck with it and rot. Don't come on this forum and complain about QC issues and state that you have three, unless of course you're a troll.

Wayment. You're saying a flipper ... posts a complaint and simultaneously shows a lovely knife ... and then sits back and waits for PM offers to roll in? So ...wayment ... you're saying this person found a way to use the Spyderco forum as as a sales forum? While technically not doing that?

If that's what your proposing...creative is one word for it. Not the word I'd use, exactly.

If he can do it, can I? Because now that I think of it, I'm seriously outraged at a number of Spydercos I've been meaning to sell...look for outrage threads, with large photos, to be posted by me soon. And yes, I take PayPal, Venmo, and all major credit cards.
