Mine is still minty fresh while I wait for scales.
Similar brown G10 as on the Nilakka, but the texture is different.

No sir... They are the Burnt Bronze Cerakote from AWT.

My AWT scales (anodized Flat Dark Earth) arrived. It is not as dark as I expected, more of a light khaki or sand colour, depending on the light.
Here is a comparison with the M4 in anodized OD Green, for anyone who is on the fence.
