I stumbled across outletspyderco.com but the old adage "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" rang true - Edit, after digging a little more I see this is indeed a fake site.

Is it safe to say, in general, if the company is not listed on the official dealer map then its either fake or a legit obtained secondhand or indirectly?
