Scored two knives I've been wanting for quite some time today.

Sorry for the crappy pic but I had to share:

Was surprised to not only score the PE Magnacut but also the Hawkbill in H2!

Nice head-to-head comparison of Golden's and Seki's yellow FRN. This thread is making me interested in the Native 5 Salt for the first time... :face monocle

Seems like the Yellow handles are getting the H2 before the Black . I may be wrong but so far both Pacific Yellow variations and now the Hawkbill are in the Wild . Dan

The N5 Yellow is more of mustard in comparison. Fist time I saw one, I didn't think to compare it to a Seki. I remember saying it looked the same and got called out for it. Rightfully so. I do like it.

Cowboyfromhell, I got them from the SFO. I couldn't wait. I've been dying for the Magnacut N5, and I wanted a Hawkbill DF2 for quite some time. I figured may as well get em both. I didn't realize til I got the sticker that the blade might be H2. Pulled it of teh box and, sure enough!

I prefer uncoated blades, but that N5 would sure look nice with DLC or TiCN. Not that it needs it.

Nice acquisitions. I like the Seki yellow better, I can tell.

The hawkbill DF2 is a champ. My wife took it as soon as she saw it. She works at a garden center and she swears it's all she need for her day to day tasks

I wonder if the difference between the Golden yellow and the Seki yellow was intentional or accidental? I like them both. Matching colors in different resin formulations can’t be trivial to do.

This makes me think Spyderco should create a culinary oriented salt series knife called the “Table Salt.” :grin-squint

I agree with David once again… you got some catching up to do!!! And that’s not all of em, just what I could find at the time without pulling ones from vehicles, life vests, etc…

I like plenty of salt in my diet!

nice catch, z1r!

I've been adding a generous amount of salt to my diet over the last couple of years, and it has been much better for my overall wellbeing than many so called health experts give it credit for. The only downside being that this level of consumption combined with the price of Salt these days is having a noticeable impact on my wallet.

I have a ton of these little guys. I buy em whenever I see one for sale. This one was the lightest, most faded yellow of all. I remedied that today:
