Lucky guy. I been paying $5 to $6.49 for a dozen eggs. And I am no where near a small farm to buy them at a better price. I been trying egg beaters but they just not the same or cook up without sticking to the pan. Omelets are a thing of the past for me.

Lucky guy. I been paying $5 to $6.49 for a dozen eggs. And I am no where near a small farm to buy them at a better price. I been trying egg beaters but they just not the same or cook up without sticking to the pan. Omelets are a thing of the past for me.

Well I spent time in Military, got hurt bad, and earn use of any military commissary in world,

We do not pay the inflated prices of for profit businesses, or for their advertising hype.

Local Kroger IMHO should issue employees , masks and gun to do robberies. 6 - 7 buck for dozen generic eggs is robbery.

Similarly Australia has had issues due to flooding and it’s not just eggs in Australia, potatoes are in short supply…No Chips with your burger in some places

No potatoes with a burgers is a cardinal sin I love potatoes. Went up a bit in USA. But still readily available and affordable.
The thing that concerns me is eggs. Because almost every food item from bread to deserts has to have eggs. The pastry shop and restaurants I go to are struggling to not rise prices. Considering I live In Washington DC. That is not good. Very expensive to begin with.
I got to thinking how bad I feel for homeless as eggs are a necessity to the homeless shelters and food pantries. I can't imagine how bad shelters are having it.
I never realized the importance of eggs and took them for granted. Needless to say I was foolish and can only hope egg prices go down as they're essential to hundreds of recipes and can pretty much hurt the restaurant business that relies on them.
I can see a worst case scenario where some products made from eggs could raise costs to asinine levels. Such as bread and cake mix. Even in the grocery stores.

it's just the annual price increase. i believe new prices were included with the last reveal.
