... but I ordered a wide range of silicon carbide sandpaper from maker material supply and didn't consider that it would come as a stack of loose sheets. In the name of work flow, how do yall store/set up your bulk sand paper?

Thank you,
I'll hang up and listen.

So I like to keep it in paper bags as it keeps it fresher.

One thing I will mention is if you cut it into squares always write what it is with a Sharpie on the back. As only a few will have the grit number on it
Don't ask me how many little squares I have of un-used squares that I don't know what grit they are..

I have moved to cloth backed roll for most uses now.

I can't tell you how any times I've had to make judgment calls guessing what squares were what haha

Awesome, I appreciate it the help.
The above roll dispenser is cloth backed and great for shoeshine type sanding and they are
6 meter lengths. 20ft for you guys in the US.
They have all the step ups sorted to 600 grit. I just fold over the last grit I use so I know what I used last :winking-tongue
The box is only $19.80 AUD so like less than $15US

YES. Discovered that pretty quickly, not the first project, but definitely the second one :squinting-tongue

Please excuse the mess...I keep my sheets in drawer on my sanding and shaping table. Since using these blue backed sheets, I take and cut them into 3rds then take a silver sharpie and write out the grits. Silver shows up really well on this blue(blue painters tape too!).

There are products like this sandpaper organizer available https://www.woodcraft.com/products/wood ... -woodriver if it's not a huge amount, or go to an office supply and look for paper trays.
