What's the number on the blade of my Swick 6?

I just received my Swick 6 Small today, noticed that there's a number, 10, on the blade. What does this stand for?

Hi, welcome aboard.

That looks like a collector's number. Someone who is a member of the collector's club probably declined to buy this model, so the retailer sold it to you. It adds nothing the knife outside of a possibly unwanted number etched on to the blade.

So are there any value to this knife due to the number? I agree that the knife would look better if the number wasn't there, or at least not on the side of the blade.

I bought from a Swedish retailer (I'm in Sweden), the product picture showed a knife with "070", so I guess this is not the only stamped knife they sold.

IMHO, it makes it *less* valuable than it would otherwise be without it. A collector number corresponds to a particular person. It’s halfway to having someone else’s name or initials etched onto the blade of your knife (again IMHO).

Of ALL Spydercos I have bought over the years, I have never gotten one with a collectors stamp before. But I know now that I should ask for one without a number in the future

I live in Norway, and have yet to find the Swick available at any of my usual European retailers.

Sure, they are currently out of stock, I bought the last one. Not sure if they will get it back in, my friend is also looking for one.

Just noticed they only ship to EU countries, some actually mean EEC and EU when they write that. Hopefully it works out if they get a refill of Swicks
