What Knife Did You Sell Today?
I sold a foliage green serrated endura that i bought from a flea market vendor that dropped it while open onto the tip right as i was getting my wallet out to pay. It was such a good deal i just shook my head as i bought the bent tipped knife that i would never use.
Re: What Knife Did You Sell Today?
I traded an Ultratech today for a Millie, my first Millie, and I am very excited for the mail to come Saturday.
Re: What Knife Did You Sell Today?
Wait are you saying I can get money BACK from these things? How the heck is that done? Can I keep them after I sell them?
My head hurts
Seriously it has been years since I sold one. The most recent that even left my hands was on a trade and then that was a couple years ago. I tend to know exactly what I want (after years of trial and error at least) so the ones I purchase these days are pretty much all keepers with rare exceptions.

Re: What Knife Did You Sell Today?
Me too.
I do have some that I should sell that don't see a lot of use anymore. They are all so used. That I just tell myself no one will want to buy that. I like to try them out for awhile to see how I like them which means they get scratched, dinged, and dirty. Ultimately they get sharpened and thinned out. I think I know more what I like and what will stick around, so I don't have as many that sit around these days minus a few older ones. I guess I will just keep those around and maybe gift them out someday. I have literally only sold 1 model to someone I really wanted to have it. All the others, I have just given away. I guess that is why I have to be more selective these days. I can't indefinitely fund the hobby if I am not recouping on the backend.

I can't believe how many of you are hoarders haha!! It's fun to get rid of some that don't see any use or carry, to fund something new! I'm thinking my M4/DLC Native Chief is next on the chopping block.

Re: What Knife Did You Sell Today?
Exactly. A lot of times I sell a knife to fund a knife. Granted my "collection" is small and I use them all but if something is not working or getting rotated in enough I move it to try something I might like better. The number of fixed blades I have gone through is, well, I forget quite a few of them from the past and then all of a sudden see a picture of one and realize "oh yeah, I did own that at one time."

Re: What Knife Did You Sell Today?
I think I'm ready to move on from the Police. Think I'll hold on to my P3 for sentimental reasons but sell off the 4's.
Post that on the swap and I know someone who would buy it.
Re: What Knife Did You Sell Today?
I’ve only ever sold one knife before, a NIB Captain that a guy on FB must have really wanted….bad! I’ve gifted away probably 6 or 7 over the years.
I was just thinking about this the other day, think I’m going to have me a fire sale and move around 20 knives!

Any fixed blades? Are you going to post them on the swap reddit page? Keep us posted.benben wrote: ↑Wed Dec 28, 2022 12:52 pmI’ve only ever sold one knife before, a NIB Captain that a guy on FB must have really wanted….bad! I’ve gifted away probably 6 or 7 over the years.

Maybe start an alert thread and release one at a time. Then let the good times roll.benben wrote: ↑Wed Dec 28, 2022 12:52 pmI’ve only ever sold one knife before, a NIB Captain that a guy on FB must have really wanted….bad! I’ve gifted away probably 6 or 7 over the years.

I've still got the Rex45, that one is a keeper! These days I just don't have a reason to have 2 or more of MOST models (Shaman and Manix being the exceptions)Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 28, 2022 1:44 pmNo way ! When I think of buddy Rick the Chief appears in my tiny brain ! Dan
