There already was about 24 years ago, but it was still bigger than 8cm.

Also thought of the Rookie! One of the future sprints I hope to see. Double check the wiki, it’s a hair under 8cm.

Yeap, I gotta second the idea of bringing back the Rookie.

Maybe a nice Sprint?

Or an FRN/K390 ?

I think the real question is when will we see the Police XL dethrone the Tatanka for largest Spydiefolder?

I'd be down for a G10 or Cru-carta Rookie if they add jimping and a boye dent.

Would it have to be dubbed "RoboCop"?

If the Rookie were to be brought back from the dead, I think I'd prefer a new design based on the Police 4 with a choil rather than just a re-release of the original.

I prefer this route than a Sprint Rookie. Unless some just want the Rookie for collection? We've learned quite a bit about design since we designed the Rookie.

I'd love to see a sprint in K390, but if you have a new design you'd like to drop on us, let's see that one first!

I’ve expressed interest in a K390 Rookie for a while now, at least since the K390 Police 4.

In my opinion, the design doesn’t seem unique enough to warrant a full redesign for regular production again. I know I’m most likely in the minority now but I’d rather see a sprint of the original Rookie.

If you were to produce something smaller based on the P4, what would you call it? Rookie 2, Cadet (though there's already a Swiss Army knife with this name), Patrolman? Mini Police just doesn't sound good in my opinion.

A G10 Rookie re-run/sprint is one of very few knives I’ll buy for looks alone. I pretty much have a crush on that knife, so obviously I’m in the camp that don’t want it to change too much.

Call it Mini Police. They have a program in the UK for youngsters getting acquainted with police work. UK Police are very fond of those Hi Viz colors!
