List Your Dream Spyderco

Waterway Magnacut with bright handles.
Spydie Chef XL
Stovepipe XXL

These 3 would peak my interest. Would any of them sell?

Yeah, I'm thinking a choil-less Mid-Sized Native (maybe get the same edge length as the Chief). Cruwear pick a color. Or SPY27 Blue G10.

Or Caly 3.5 SPY27 Blue G10.

And, Polestar some high wear resistant steal of Spyderco's choosing.

I don’t dream of Spydies yet to be built, at least not until a model is announced that I didn’t know I wanted, like the 15V Manix2.

Instead, my wants lie in older catalogs. Having acquired an AUS6 Harpy (1988); a G2 Co-Pilot (1989); a G2 Wayne Goddard (1991-1998); an ATS55 Cricket (1996); a VG10 Calypso (1998); an ATS55 Bob Lum (1998-2000); an ATS55 Dyad (2001-2001); a 440V Lil’Temperance2 (2001-2002); and an AUS6 Jester (2002), I am encouraged more to BOLO other oldies than to dream up new versions of things I already know or could easily imagine.

I think Spyderco has some really great models in their lineup already, and truthfully a lot of my *Dream* knives seem to have come to fruition in the past couple of years. Definitely still a few more I'd like to try though:
  • K390 Military, Reeve Integral Lock, with a Green Canvas Micarta scale on the other side.
  • Pretty much every Golden, Colorado model in GCM and K390
  • Crucarta Stretch XL
  • Handle-forward Shaman with some sort of Micarta + Tool Steel combo.
  • Dragonfly XL

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Count me in as long as it’s in a stainless steel.

WolfSpyder in CF/S90V. That's my dream. Really any new iteration of the WolfSpyder would be a dream come true. But a CF/S90V is my dreamiest.

Fixed blade based on the Military. Same blade shape and negative angle, same handle shape with more contouring. May as well make it in K390 and throw some green micarta scales on it. Put it in a nice Kydex sheath, why not.

I don’t retract my first answer but my real dream Spyderco would be my own design collaboration produced by Spyderco! That would be a real dream come true! :star-struck :bug-red
