byrd meadowlark 2 ss can be adjusted?
I have a byrd meadowlark 2 combo, stainless steel handle, I've been using it for years every day at work, it has taken a little slack in the blade, is there a way to tighten it?

Re: byrd meadowlark 2 ss can be adjusted?
I normally look for the pivot, then carefully using a punch with the same (ish) diameter tap the pin carefully against a smooth steel surface, I lubricate the joint first. I do this gently on both sides til tightened enough. If the pin is proud of the handle I flat back using 800+ grit wet and dry til blended. Hope this helps?

Clamp it on a vice where the pin is and tighten the vice , use a bit of wood either side so not to scratch it , o it a bit at a time until there is no play , if the pins visible after use a peining hammer and lay it down in a anvil or lump of metal and pein it and flip it over and repeat, but keep checking the blade , after your need to sand it .
